Key Events
June 22, 2139: San Jacinto departs Vandenberg Station in Earth GEO carrying two National Security Service operatives on a classified mission.
July 25, 2139: In the FL Virginis system, San Jacinto witnesses JDF Mogami destroy three Chinese colonial transports and the corvette Hangyao.
August 29, 2139: San Jacinto arrives in Entente LEO. A landing party vists Graypen.
September 18-19, 2139: San Jacinto arrives Commonwealth LEO. A landing party visits the headquarters of the Taiwan Liberation Congress. A Chinese spy ship, the Anjian, bombards the camp and nearby landing strip, killing a dropship crew, and lands space naval infantry forces to engage congressional troops. San Jacinto collects the Taiwanese leader, Sun Haisheng, and departs Commonwealth orbit, with the intention of returning Sun to Earth. Anjian attacks, but San Jacinto defeats the Chinese destroyer. Fearful of further pursuit by Chinese forces, San Jacinto takes a long route home.
December 30, 2139: San Jacinto encounters and joins CJTF 17 in GJ 1119, which is tasked with retaking American territory on the planet Kuan Yin. Sun Haisheng departs on corvette USS Dextrous for Earth.
January 28, 2140: San Jacinto takes part in the disastrous Second Battle of Kuan Yin.
March 8, 2140: San Jacinto, aided by HMS Swiftsure, RAS Fremantle, and ISS Bayandor conducts a rescue operation of Kuan Yin's surface before departing for Earth.
June 17, 2140: San Jacinto takes part in the Battle of Kennedy Station, destroying the Chinese light cruiser Hangzhou, a destroyer, and three reinforced-battalion transports. She is badly damaged during the mission, and her captain, operations officer and several others are killed.
